James A Sanford

I have been a practicing attorney for over 30 years.  Sanford, Pierson, Thone & Strean P.L.C. was originally founded in 1995.    Our firm currently has 7 attorneys and 11 total employees.  We are located in Wayzata, Minnesota, but are licensed practice in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. 

Our clients range from small to mid sized companies in all industries, entrepreneurial start up companies and individuals.   We provide business, corporate, litigation, contract, employment, real esate, succession planning and estate planning services to our business and individual clients.  To our business clients we like to refer to ourselves as inside council from the outside at reasonable prices. To our creditor remedies and banking clients we provide litigation, secured transactions, bankruptcy, foreclosure, work out and transactional loan documentation services. Our understanding of both sides of a transaction (origination and workout) give us unique skills with which to serve our credit clients.
