Darrin Michael Rosha

Darrin serves as the lawyer for business owners from corporation and limited liability company formation to corporate record keeping, and from drafting employee contracts and employee handbooks to prosecuting and defending lawsuits based on contract or other claims or disputes.  Darrin provides excellent legal representation to business and individual clients who have suffered damage to reputation from defamation and other attacks, including through internet attacks.  Darrin works closely with the firm’s Elder Law and Estate Section on probate and estate planning matters, including wills, also known as a last will and testament, trust creation, probate and estate planning.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School where he was a member of the Law Review staff, Darrin served as law clerk to the Honorable Gerald W. Heaney of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.  He joined the Briggs & Morgan law firm’s commercial litigation group in St. Paul, working in complex litigation, appeals and motion practice, and regulatory matters.

In 2000, Darrin joined two other attorneys in establishing what became the Capitol Heights Law Group, PLLC, where he established a highly successful litigation practice as counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants to a lawsuit.  Capitol Heights represented clients in legal disputes, corporate and business transactions, estate planning and probate, criminal defense, entertainment law, and equine law, building a reputation for first-rate, reasonably priced legal representation.  In 2008, Darrin established the Rosha Legal Group, PLLC after making the move to western Hennepin County.

Darrin is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Minnesota Army National Guard, currently serving as a judge advocate. Darrin also serves as a Regent of the University of Minnesota having served from 1989 to 1995 and being re-elected in 2015 and 2017.  He enjoys raising and riding registered Morgan horses and other equine and equestrian activities with his family in Independence, MN.
