First and foremost, Merlyn and his staff are good people above all else. Going through a divorce is an emotional roller coaster and take that to another level when young children are involved. Not knowing which law firm to trust (for most of us this is a first, and hopefully last time going throu...gh this!) was the most daunting and overwhelming feeling I had heading into my divorce. Like most of you reading this, we only have one shot at getting the outcome we hope. My son was only 6 months old when my divorce began. On my side finances were limited and on my ex wife's side money (family) money was not a challenge (to say the least!). It was scary enough to think that I will only be seeing my son half of the time for the rest of his life. I worked with Merlyn on my case that became a four-year and a half year journey, including multiple mediations, numerous motions, an eight-day trial, and an appeal by the other party after we prevailed in Court, then Supreme Court. At the end of it all, I am so thankful that I chose Merlyn to represe...nt me. Merlyn represented me in a complicated family court case starting in 2014 through 2017.
