Sarah focuses her practice on representation of individuals, business owners and real estate investors in real estate matters, general business matters, and estate planning (wills, trusts, health care directives, etc.).
Before co-founding Sonday Carlson Law, PLLC, Sarah worked for a small suburban Twin Cities law firm, where she advised individuals and businesses in real estate, business, estate planning, and personal injury matters. Sarah also previously worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Hayden and the Honorable Vicki E. Landwehr in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where she gained experience in criminal law, family law, and general civil practice. As a judicial law clerk, Sarah had the unique opportunity to work with the three-judge panel appointed to the 2008 Senate Recount Trial.
Born and raised in Waseca, Minnesota, Sarah attended undergraduate school at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Spanish, with a minor in Foreign Studies. While an undergraduate student, Sarah lived and studied language and culture in Cuernavaca, Mexico and Toledo, Spain. Sarah went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she served as an associate writer on the Hamline Journal of Public Law & Policy. Sarah also earned a Certificate in Arbitration Law & Practice from Hamline’s Dispute Resolution Institute.
