As an elder law attorney, I pride myself on providing compassionate, practical, and timely service to my clients and their families. As a second-career attorney, I bring extensive real world experience to my practice which helps my clients to efficiently navigate the complex regulatory and administrative hurdles they encounter when dealing with long-term care benefits, Medical Assistance applications, renewals and compliance, and long-term care planning. I am able to put my experience to work as an advocate for my clients in a system that they typically encounter during one of the most stressful times of their lives as they find themselves needing care and trying to figure out how to afford it.
I utilize a hands-on approach to all of my clients. My clients and their families receive attentive, personalized service to help them navigate chaos and provide peace of mind to all involved.
Outside of the office, I have two active daughters who are involved in basketball and gymnastics. I serve on the Osseo-Maple Grove Basketball Association Board and I run the Intro to Basketball Program teaching the game and helping to foster a love of the game in kindergartners and first graders in our community. I am also a member of NAELA (National Association of Elder Law Attorneys), MN-NAELA, and the Minnesota State Bar Association's Elder Law Section.

"I wholeheartedly endorse Rachell. She approaches Elder Law in a unique way. I see her treating clients as family - doing whatever she can to connect with them and better their situation. Elder law, for Rachell, is as much about her relationship with the client as it is about the law pertaining to the situation. If you want someone that pays attention to not only the legal issues, but the "other stuff" that accompanies most elder law situations - Rachell is your person - your attorney. She will earn your trust, and then, work towards your goals. Whether those goals are understanding long-term care planning or actively applying for Medical Assistance (Medicaid), she can handle it."
