Mary Kennedy Budge

I have over 20 years of legal experience, including over 13 years of experience in providing leadership, advice and counsel as general counsel of a high-tech enterprise security software company. I am currently the owner of Budge Law Offices, LLC, our sole focus is in providing general counsel consulting services and general corporate business advice to startups and small to medium size companies. Whether it is forming your corporation, negotiating and drafting agreements, commercial lease negotiations, trademarks and copyright work, we are here to help your business grow.

Prior to forming Budge Law Offices, LLC, I served as senior vice president, secretary and general counsel at Secure Computing Corporation, a publicly traded, enterprise security software company with annual revenue of approximately $300M. In this role, I provided legal counsel and guidance to the corporate officers and the board of directors. Prior to Secure Computing, I was an attorney for Schwegman, Lundberg, & Woessner, where I specialized in trademark and copyright law.

Beginning fall, 2010 I will be the new adjunct professor of William Mitchell College of Law's Business Law Clinic

I am a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Metro Independent Business Alliance and the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.

I received my Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law.

I am a board member of Kaposia, Inc., a nonprofit organization specializing in providing employment services to people with disabilities.
