Misti Renelle Allen Binsfeld

Misti Allen Binsfeld is the owner and managing attorney at Binsfeld Law Firm, PLLC, practicing in the area of Immigration Law. She has enjoyed practicing Immigration Law for more than 20 years and has a wide range of Immigration Law experience. Misti was the 2017-2018 chair-person of American Immigration Lawyer Association for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. This is an elected leadership position for which Misti lead nearly 300 lawyers on behalf of the organization.

In her law practice, Misti represents employers who seek to hire foreign nationals, families who seek to live together in the United States, individuals seeking asylum in the United States, crime victims, individuals in removal proceedings, and applicants for U.S. citizenship.

Misti’s approach to working with clients is thorough. She enjoys working with people and businesses, identifying client goals, and working together to find solutions. Misti finds great reward in representing companies and individuals, and together working through the complexities of Immigration Law procedures. Misti believes the relationship that is built between lawyer and client is integral to success. Misti’s success with clients has built long lasting relationships with companies, families, and individuals.

Misti is active in the local legal community. She presents on Immigration Law topics, supports educational opportunities for lawyers and students, and advocates to U.S. Congressional leaders how we all benefit from strong and secure immigrant communities. Misti provides mentorship to students and new lawyers. She supports The Advocates for Human Rights, Minnesota and provides pro bono legal representation for children seeking asylum.
