Megan Marie Curtis

Megan graduated from Hamline University with a major in legal studies and a minor in political science. She also obtained her paralegal certificate while in college. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Boston to work as a paralegal in a large insurance defense firm. Megan returned to Hamline University to attend law school. After Megan obtained her law degree and became licensed in Minnesota, she started working at a personal injury firm in Minneapolis, where she quickly rose to become a partner. Megan went solo in 2019 when she started Megan Curtis Law, PLLC. Megan has been licensed to practice law in Minnesota since 2012 and was admitted to the federal bar in 2020.

Megan has been named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers for seven years in a row for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, 2024, and 2025 (this is an award given to less than 3% of attorneys in MN), and was also named by Super Lawyers as one of the "Top Women Attorneys" (Rising Star) in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Megan grew up in the beautiful town of Red Wing, MN. She participated in 4-H and liked to ride horses, garden, and play the piano. Megan graduated from Red Wing High School but also spent a few years at the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley, MN where her specialty was piano performance and composition. In her free time Megan enjoys using her Peloton, doing yoga, spending time with family, going to the dog park with the family dogs, riding horses, and traveling.
