Nick’s business and estate planning practice is focused on guiding his clients through the complicated and often confusing maze of balancing protection, wealth preservation, and values in the planning process. Nick believes there is more to business planning than implementing legal documents. Creating a partnership with a Trusted Personal Lawyer to ensure that not only legal, but also that key insurance, financial and tax planning are considered is key to providing complete protection and peace of mind to the business owner. Nick believes that traditional estate planning, which typically only focuses on financial wealth, is far too limited and short-sighted. It’s not just about passing on financial wealth, but also intellectual, spiritual and human wealth.

Nick earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree at the University of Notre Dame. He graduated law school cum laude at William Mitchell College of Law. Nick's licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Colorado. On a personal level, Nick resides in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota with his wife, Kristin, and children, Matthew, Katie, and Andrew. Nick is actively involved in the community through his church and children’s ministry and his children’s schools. He also enjoys running, skiing, being outdoors, and playing with his kids.
