Biography
Reese is an award-winning trial attorney who is passionate about the law and justice. In 2014, Reese was elected County Attorney in Pine County, Minnesota. Reese and his staff are responsible for the prosecution of state statutes and county ordinances. He is also the chief legal counsel to the county. Reese has successfully obtained convictions in numerous jury trials, including homicides.
Reese is a frequent lecturer and trainer in a variety of legal areas throughout Minnesota and other states. He has founded and led many justice initiatives since becoming county attorney. Reese has been featured in local, state, national and worldwide media. He recently appeared on ABC’s 20/20 In An Instant for his work in bringing an international fugitive to justice.
Reese serves in many community groups. He also served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force and earned two service medals.
