I worked with Katie because when I met with her, she seemed very compassionate to my situation. The short story is that my ex moved my son from WI to MN without my consent and then tried to have MN overturn our 50/50 custody agreement. When we went to court, I will be honest, the judge seemed to le...an toward my ex initially, even though Ms. Moody brought up quite a bit of evidence proving how shady my ex was being and how his lawyer failed to follow basic filing instructions. I left feeling very deflated as the judge was leaning toward keeping 50/50 but with my time only on weekends and in the summer. The judge ruled in about 60 days and he was extremely fair, allowing me to have my son every other week. I think Katie did a good job outlining my case so when the judge finally sat down and read the enormous amount of paperwork submitted by both parties, he was able to determine a fair and legal judgement. Katie was very helpful in resolving a motion for change of custody. We met for a consultation and she answered all of my questions completely.
