My life was up-ended by a husband that wanted a divorce after 33 years of marriage. After the initial shock wore off, friends suggested Chuck as he was a pit bull in the court room. Having never worked a professional job in my adult life, I had no idea that I was entitled to not only 50% of our joi...nt marital property and savings/retirement accounts REGARDLESS of whose name they are in, but also spousal support from my ex. Chuck listened to me cry, yell, and be crazy, never complaining or poo-pooing my calls. In the end, I am better off without the cheating husband - and I have money to start my new life.
