John Charles Bachman

This has to be the worst lawyer of all time. He is a public defender in his late 60’s who literally just wants the case to he over with. He does not answer calls, he does not give options, you must pry out the information from him. He would consistently say “it’s up to you” then when I would challeng...e that with a question about how it would affect the case he would say “I really don’t know…” like that’s your job buddy. I must have called him 30 times and received 0 callbacks. He mails letters though. He doesn’t have a drop of empathy in his heart and I guarantee all the judges and prosecutors do not want to help him out..meaning help you out. Change your cousin immediately or you will be unfairly sentenced like I was.

Left multiple voicemails and the guy never made an effort to connect with me. He just showed up at my court date nonchalant-like. I was facing jail time and the first time meeting, heck even the first conversation I had with the man was 5 minutes before my plea hearing. He had no answer to why he nev...er consulted with me. Remove this old man from the bar so he doesn’t misrepresent more people in this disrespectful manner. WHAT A JOKE!

I had hired Mr. Bachman to be my attorney. He apparently does not have a secretary, paralegal or working auto attendant voice messaging system. He does not return phone calls, meet with a client for an initial consultation or even take more than 10 minutes with a client. He is not good at listeni...ng to a clients needs or getting to know the client. He is very slow at working on cases. This attorney does not even have an office you can go to. I have never met a professional that operates the way this attorney does. He is highly unethical and enjoys insulting his client. I would recommend staying away from this attorney unless you are looking for problems. In the past, I have hired other attorneys at law firms that gave me more respect, listened to my needs and returned my phone calls. The attorney's I've worked with in the past even took enough time to listen to my needs. I see why this attorney does not have an office. His license should be revoked and I have reported him to the ethics bureau. He doesn't even have a facsimile telephone number.
