John M. Matousek

I hired John after several Attorney's recommended him for what was needed in my case. He does have experience as an ex-DA which I felt would be very helpful. I also hired his wife Dianne as a P.I. to help with the case. From day one he talked more about what cases he has done work on than hearing wha...t I was trying to advise him about in my case. This led to him charging me 387.00 per hour just to listen to things that had nothing to do with my case. After 2 months his wife dropped off the case without giving me notice. Dianne stopped taking my calls and advised me to text only and would never answer my texts. After that John did the same and said to text him only which he stopped responding to, even when I asked if he was still representing me which a year later I still have no idea if he is representing me. I hired him due to the death of my son which was ruled a suicide but evidence shows this was Homicide and being mishandled by the local Police Department. In talking with other Lawyers due to the fact that John will not communicate with me I was advised to seek out a new Attorney. It is my belief that his past connections with being a DA he does not want to pursue this case as it involves the local Police Department. So his course of action is to ignore me and let this case go unresolved until I tell him to stop representing me. So for 3400.00 all I have gotten is several phone calls to the investigating Police Department which refuse to talk to him.
