Collin Mettelka Mettelka

Wisconsin native, Collin Mettelka, grew up in Green Bay. His mother is a public school teacher at Doty Elementary School and his father is the owner and operator of Jaymar Screen Printers, Inc.

Although Collin grew up in Green Bay, the Mettelka family has been part of the Vilas County community since 1938, when his Great-Great Grandfather, John J. Mettelka, built a cabin in Plum Lake, Wisconsin. Since that time, his family has maintained strong roots in Vilas County.

Collin received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School. While obtaining his bachelor’s degree, Collin also studied at the ISU at Philipps-Universität Marburg in Marburg, Germany under such scholars as former United Nations Assistant Secretary General, Hans-Christof von Sponeck. During his time at Marquette University Law School, Collin was an officer in the Environmental Law Society and the Marquette Immigration Law Association. Additionally, Collin interned at Legal Action of Wisconsin’s Housing Division in Milwaukee.

Collin moved to Vilas County in July of 2016 and formed the law firm, Moustakis & Mettelka, LLC with former Vilas County District Attorney Al Moustakis in January of 2017.

Collin is a member of Wealth Counsel, a national estate planning organization that provides exceptional estate planning documents such as trusts and wills. Collin has also taken on criminal felony cases for the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s office. Collin provides community members with business organization planning, business contracts, and general real estate work.
