After graduating from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education, Attorney Jason Sausser joined the Peace Corps and spent two years in Tanzania teaching English as a foreign language. Upon returning from the Peace Corps, Jason decided to go to law school at Marquette University, where he graduated in 2021 with Academic and Pro Bono Society Honors.
Before starting at Anderson O'Brien, Jason was the lead attorney of the corporate counsel division at a law firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he provided a wide variety of legal counsel to small and medium sized businesses. He also held titles such as Summer Associate at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, S.C and Legal Intern for the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States District Court Eastern District of Wisconsin.
As part of his Pro Bono Experience at Marquette Law School, Jason Volunteered as a Legal Intern with the Federal Defenders and at the Eviction Defense Project.
His areas of practice are Family law, which includes Divorces, Paternity cases, Guardian ad Litem Work, Adoptions, and Terminations of Parental rights; Civil Litigation; and Dispute Resolution.
