Gives practical advice, doesn't tell you "what you want to hear"
Oddly, my experience was the opposite of the negative posters here. Maybe I was just lucky? We worked through a complicated matter and, based on his experience with the legal system, he developed a strategy that protected my rights. He's not touchy-feelie, if that's what you want from a lawyer.
