Peter Charles Rotter

I am a 55 year old married father of 6 (3 are steps, 3 boys, 3 girls, - yes, very Brady Bunch).  I have seven grandchildren and I have been a single parent, though I have been married most of my adult life. 

I have always been active in my community, teaching and coaching swimming, lifeguarding and providing lifeguarding/safety work at the Wausau Kayak Course, including safety work at the 1996 Olympics.  I have been an active participant in my faith, having taught Sunday school, Hebrew lessons, Chairing committees and having been an active board member and officer of the board at my Synagogue and an organizer of Synagogue events. I serve on the Boards of Directors at a number of Non-profit organizations including currently serving as President at two and secretary at another. I am active in the Optimists, Masons and as a Shriner and regularly volunteer as a driver taking children from our area to the Shriner's Hospital for Children in St. Paul MN

I have been a stalwart champion of the rights of the disadvantaged.  Practicing for 7 years as a staff attorney at Wisconsin Judicare, Inc. a Legal Services grantee providing free legal services to low income individuals in civil matters only.  I have, since 1997 taken Public Defender assignments and County assignments.  I have always championed my client's causes with energy, zeal and enthusiasm. 

I love what I do and do it in a way that reflects that love.  I have a passion for Justice and try to serve it as best I can.
