Jul 16, 2009OUTCOME: Successful rescue and placement
Mr. Bryant had been in a conservatorship with an inexperienced conservator. When left alone for a week Mr. Bryant disappeared. He was found several months later in a homeless shelter some 100 miles ... away. I was made emergency interim conservator and charged with retrieving him, getting him a medical examination and placing him somewhere safe where he could live and receive proper care. I was able to locate resources and retrieve Mr. Bryant from the homeless shelter without incident, even though he wanted to stay there. He was medically examined and placed in an assisted living shelter that would accept his $1,300.00 per month income as his only payment. As he had no other resources and no one was there to be his conservator, I remained as emergency interim conservator until he died two years later.
