Represented a retired school teacher against the City of Atlanta for bulldozing her unoccupied former liquor store located next to the Georgia Dome. Was able to establish through extensive depositions ... that many corners were cut to try and help Mayor Bill Campbell in his reelection campaign. After a 5 day trial the jury awarded my client $509,201 for her building that only appraised for $50,000. The award was enhanced by showing the jury the potential of the building. Over $60,000 in attorneys fees was also included.
