John K. Smerlinski

I hired John Smerlinski to represent me on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. John didn't promise any outcome but suggested a course of action in which the criminal charge could be amended to a municipal citation. I followed through in his recommendations and he was able to negotiate the charge... to a citation and small fine which was the best case outcome for me. John did everything I hoped for and more. John practices law in the Madison area but assured me he was experienced in Wood County and did a superb job of representing me. We connected by phone initially and he traveled through wintry blizzard weather, to our initial court appearance. He met with me, ...at my request, and answered all questions, at a later date. I had contacted John when my daughter was arrested on drug related charges. John was very helpful and knowledgable when we talked to him. He made it possible for my daughter to enter drug court. In doing that she was able to get connected with a lot of different counselors and groups. It has been a l...ong road, but because of Johns help in the beginning my daughter is now on the right path. Without Johns help I am afraid my daughter could have gotten lost in the system things my not have turned out as well as they have.
