We recommend this attorney

My wife and I hired Carol Brown to complete a claim against a car dealer for misrepresentation and faulty product. She fully prevailed and we were able to recoup costs and damages. Our plans are to hire her again to represent us should we face a similar negative situation. Good attorney, and a very w...onderful person as well.

Public Reprimand issued in WI, 2010

updated on 11/11/2015

Reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Carol’s comment:

“License was neither revoked nor suspended. Noted in the decision was the observation by the referee that many "of the problems that Attorney Brown got into in this case were as a direct result of the contentiousness between various interests in the tribe and the instability of the tribal government." The referee explicitly considered this a mitigating factor.”
