Michael S. Rogowski

Mike Rogowski is a Shareholder and directs the State Government Affairs practice group in the Madison office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek. He has almost two decades of experience in government and regulatory affairs, including three years in the Administration of Governor Tommy G. Thompson. He has served as:

- Chief of Staff to the Governor of Wisconsin
- Assistant to two Cabinet Secretaries
- Executive Director, State Republican Caucus
- In-house Legal Counsel for the Wisconsin Senate Republican Caucus
- Special Counsel to the Senate Select Committee on Health Care Reform
- Clerk of the Senate Organization Committee

Mr. Rogowski has advocated on behalf of major corporate entities to obtain significant economic development incentives to enhance their business presence in Wisconsin. He is a skilled and knowledgeable negotiator who understands how to best match the appropriate resources with the project.

He can assist a growing business in navigating the complex government and administrative processes necessary to obtain various forms of economic assistance.

He has successfully represented a variety of local and national corporations and trade associations, including Fortune 500 companies, before the Wisconsin State Legislature and executive branch. Mr. Rogowski has also directed complex advocacy, planning and issue management for a wide variety of major corporate entities and trade associations. He is skilled in policy, political, administrative and legislative dynamics and analysis.

Mr. Rogowski has also served as a municipal judge. He was admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar in 1989.
