Erika was professional and to the point, she knew exactly the steps needed and achieved the best possible outcome for my case. He knowledge and preparation made everything very smooth. Her support staff (Paula especially) were easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions or concerns .

More Than a Lawyer—A Lifesaver

Erika is an incredibly knowledgeable, well-respected, and highly skilled lawyer who brings both empathy and compassion to her work. From the very beginning, she made me feel supported and never once judged me for my situation. Her empathy made a world of difference during the most difficult time in m...y life. Even when it felt like the system was stacked against us, Erika stayed focused, thorough, and persistent. She explored every possible path to fight for a fair outcome. Most importantly, she believed in me—even during moments when I struggled to believe in myself. She worked what truly felt like a miracle, achieving results I didn’t think were possible. Erika goes above and beyond! I will forever be grateful to have had her in my corner advocating every step of the way!!

Dropped the ball on an open shut case

Personally, she’s personable, to persons. As for her job, she may be crafty and intelligent, but does the bare minimum. It’s obvious she’s a total procrastinator. Had a restraining order case she completely fumbled. Should have wiped the butter off her hands before court. At least she was dressed wel...l. The way she portrayed things, she did no favors. She had a full text log between the petitioner and defendant so everything was there for her. There was no reason for Judge Frost (crook) to issue a max duration restraining order as well. He did anyways against the recommendation that there be no restraining order issued as none of the criteria were met (they weren’t). Two things to work against here. Had she been proactive with the case and not so distant we could have gone in better prepared opposed to her calling an hour before court started to get things in order. As a result, a case in which the petitioner was doing most of the babble between him and the defendant who was asking to be left alone, the defendant in this case was issued a 4 year restraining order. Very disappointed for the money that was paid. Also had a probation violation case as a result of this. More upset with the officials involved here than the petitioner, p.o. Laura Worthless included. Did not need Erika at all for the probation violation, especially with the song and dance of not understanding how probation works upon revocation, so I don’t know why she stuck around. Wait, never mind I do, she costs more than a high end Vegas escort on New Years per hour. Anyways, I saw red flags early on with her (not following her word of when she’d get back, even when she’d visit) but had no choice but to continue. You’d think she’s solving the next big national criminal case with how busy she seems to be. Anyways I would not recommend her. She is spontaneous, rushed, evasive, and unprepared. Had a bad experience and looks like others here did as well.

"Attorney Bierma is an accomplished and caring advocate. She is highly experienced in federal criminal cases; having worked with the Federal Public Defender. Just as impressive is her volunteer work with troubled juvenile offenders. She also devotes her time to agencies that help ex-prisoners find work and housing in the community. She is truly dedicated to her clients."
