My areas of practice included governmental affairs and energy & telecommunications at the law firm of Cullen Weston Pines & Bach LLP where, as an associate, partner, and in an of counsel capacity, I represented competitive local exchance carriers at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, the state legislature and in other capacities as their Wisconsin counsel.  I also represented numerous wind energy developers, lobbying successfully on their behalf for a new state siting law and assisting them with all phases of project development, including obtaining required state and local approvals, negotiating purchase power agreements and the acquisition of real estate interests.  I advocated for many other clients before the state legislature, including county land conservation departments, the supervising boards and employees of which worked to prevent erosion and polluted run-off to Wisconsin's lakes and streams.
