Biography
Josh Kindkeppel has been practicing law in Dane County since 2003. He is a native of Wisconsin and makes the most of Wisconsin's great-out-doors, especially the north woods and Wisconsin state parks. He also takes full advantage of Wisconsin's tasty treasures: beer, cheese and wine.
Mr. Kindkeppel represents and advises numerous clients from all walks of life. He especially enjoys working with "mom and pop" business owners on a variety of issues including (but not limited to) business start-ups, acquisitions/sales of businesses, administrative agency matters, employment issues, real estate purchases, contract preparation, and general business advising.
Mr. Kindkeppel advises individuals on legal matters including residential real estate purchases, landlord tenant law, discrimination cases, licensing issues, employment law, land disputes, and university level academic appeals.
Mr. Kindkeppel is an active member of the Dane County Bar Association ("DCBA"), serving on its Board of Directors. In 2006, Mr. Kindkeppel and well known Madison attorney, Joseph A. Melli, joined forces and developed a mentorship program for Dane County attorneys in which new lawyers are paired up with seasoned ones based on area of practice or area of interest for a year long period. The program started its 6th year in September 2012, and is considered to be one of the most successful attorney mentorship programs in the nation. In 2011, Mr. Kindkeppel was elected by Dane County lawyers and judges as president of the DCBA, and proudly serves in that capacity.
