Biography
I am the sole practitioner attorney with the Law Office of Peter A. Bartelt, LLC. I attended the University of Wisconsin and received my B.A. in Behavioral Sciences and Law with a certification in Criminal Justice in May 1994.
After a short stint a restaurateur I returned to law school and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in December 2000. I was admitted to Wisconsin Bar in January 2001. I am currently licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, in the Western District of Wisconsin and in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
I worked with Lawton & Cates S.C. in Madison, Wisconsin for five years before setting up my own firm which I have owned and operated since 2003. I specialize in litigation with special emphasis on Criminal and Family law. I have advocated for my clients at numerous trials and contested hearings in variety of settings including both administrative and municipal tribunals as well as State and Federal Courts.
