James E Hammis

In my rating I had to give the lowest possible, but you cannot go low enough to rate this man. I hired James Hammis to set-up an LLC. He said it would take a few days to a week. He stated how his mother said he was a small town lawyer trying to help people get ahead. I wonder if his mom knows he ...is only in it for himself. It has been over a year and I have not received anything from him except further in debt. No LLC paperwork, no refund. Anyone who has been taken advantage by him especially in hiring him needs to file their case with the WI State Bar, so they can disbar this creep forever. I have talked to other lawyers and they all know him and know what he is about they all say he should be disbarred, but somehow he still is able to practice law or should I say legalized fraud. Check out WI Circuit Court Access and just look at all the cases against him for money. Even the WI Dept. of Revenue is after him, but they are the only one he pays back. I will never see my money back from him, but I can do whatever possible to let others know so they can save some money and hopefully someday get him disbarred. His website is even fraudulent. It states he is in good standing in WI and MI His license in MI was suspended because he did not pay fees. He also lost his notary privileges and yet continues to notarize documents for people. Considered yourself warned. If I just would have checked ccap before hiring him. I never thought you would need to do that for a lawyer. Anyone you hire check on WI Circuit Court Access.
