Attorney Rusch spoke to me in a condescending manner, required a $1,500 retainer and then continued to charge me $1,000 per month, even for months that I had zero verbal, email, or written contact with him. I feel like I was charged, a lot of the time, for repeating myself and re-supplying documents ...that I had already submitted. Although Attorney Rusch sent me a lot of copies of paperwork, and apparently billed me for them, he always had a difficult time providing the appropriate paperwork to the opposing legal team and made me look bad, as he fumbled through paperwork, and nervously struggled to find the words to argue my points at each hearing. Nothing went in my favor at any of the court meetings with the family court commissioner and I ended up paying attorney Rusch $12,000 for a total of 3 court appearances and a hand full of office visits. I finally ended up switching attorneys as each court date got pushed out farther and farther and less and less got accomplished in my favor. I could not afford to continue to fork out $1,000 per month, for the months in between each court date, ridiculous!
