Jillian Elise Clausen

Ms. Clausen dedicates her practice exclusively to family law, providing exceptional representation to clients in Racine, Kenosha, and surrounding counties who are navigating divorce or other significant legal matters affecting their families.

While in law school, Ms. Clausen concentrated her studies on conflict resolution and mediation, earning a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Her passion for this area developed through her participation in Marquette’s Mediation Clinic. During her second year of law school, she represented Marquette Law School internationally at the Consensual Dispute Resolution Competition (CDRC) in Vienna, Austria, where she received the award for Best Mediation Management.

As an attorney, she strives to provide the highest level of counsel and support possible through experienced, dedicated and compassionate advocacy. Well-versed in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution techniques, Ms. Clausen is a certified attorney-mediator assisting self-represented parties resolve their conflicts and reach agreements on child custody, property division, maintenance, and other related matters without having to resort to costly, stressful, and adversarial court proceedings.

Highly active in her legal community, Ms. Clausen is a member of the Kenosha County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the current President of the Racine County Bar Association. Ms. Clausen also serves as a board member on the Education Foundation of Kenosha, serving to encourage creativity, innovation and motivation for educators through support grants that infuse a creative dimension for students.
