Our client, Matthew Martin, was a 19 year old passenger in his friend's vehicle when the friend lost control and ended up impacting a number of trees and structures along the side of the road before co ... ming to rest leaning against a pool pump house. Unfortunately, Mr. Martin suffered catastrophic injuries which left him paralyzed and in a permanent vegetative state. The defendant's insurance company failed to negotiate and settle the claim in a timely manner leading our office to file suit against them. After several years of litigation, the case went to trial in August 2017. The jury found for the plaintiff and allowed for a $19.2 million verdict in his favor.
