Brendan Daniel Corcoran

Attorney Brendan Corcoran focuses his practice in the areas of immigration, litigation and family law. He is licensed in the state courts of Wisconsin and Illinois and the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and the Northern District of Illinois Federal Courts. Brendan has experience in highly contentious and complicated cases and negotiations and he is proud of his track record of successes. Currently he is practicing law out of Milwaukee.

Brendan attended Notre Dame Law School where he completed an intensive year-long study in London on the legal issues affecting foreign nationals. After graduating Notre Dame, he began practicing at a mid-sized Chicagoland litigation firm. After moving to Wisconsin, Brendan discovered everything Milwaukee and its people had to offer. Since the move, he decided to expand his Milwaukee practice to include immigration and family law to better meet the needs of his new city.

Throughout his career, Brendan helped immigration clients fight removal proceedings, obtain visas, permanent resident status and citizenship. He places a priority on updating his clients on their cases and understands the unique stresses that an immigration issue can place on an individual and their family.

In his litigation practice, Brendan has obtained favorable settlements and judgments in cases ranging from small amounts to six figures. Not only does he enjoy such work, but he feels that no task is too small for clients and will put forward all his effort no matter the size of the case. He works directly with his clients, keeping an open channel of communication, to ensure their concerns are addressed and needs met.

Brendan focuses his family law practice on meeting each client’s specific needs. Brendan appreciates that his client’s wishes for their children, home and property are unique to each case and he adapts his approach to meet those wishes. He seeks to present a smooth litigation process that provides his client with their desired result without being overly stressful.

Brendan is happy to be in Milwaukee and Riverwest for the opening of The Law Offices of Corcoran & Foster in January 2015 and looks forward to meeting his client’s litigation and other needs.
