Lora Lynn Lococo

Lora LoCoco practices in the areas of civil, business, and appellate litigation.  Lora’s practice includes representing clients in all aspects of complex state and federal civil litigation with an emphasis on crafting legal briefs in the trial, appellate, and Supreme Court contexts.

Lora’s appellate practice experience includes:

·         Petition and briefing to the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a commercial leasing matter, obtaining successful reversal of an Appellate Court decision in our client’s favor. Tufail v. Midwest Hospitality, LLC, 2013 WI 62, 348 Wis. 2d 631, 833 N.W.2d 586.

·         Briefing in the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in a post-judgment divorce matter, where the decision of the Trial Court was upheld in favor of our client. Dickau v. Dickau, 2012 WI App 111, ¶ 26, 344 Wis. 2d 308, 330, 824 N.W.2d 142, 152.

·         Briefing to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in the areas of condominium law, insurance coverage, debt-collection priority and garnishment, and the Wisconsin Home Improvement Act.  

Lora’s experience in matters of complex state and federal civil litigation includes:

·         Representation of shareholder in complex judicial dissolution action.

·         Representation of small-, mid-, and large-sized businesses in the construction field in complex construction defect litigation.

·         Representation of various businesses in contract disputes.

·         Class action defense in the employment law context.

·         Briefing and argument on motions involving numerous aspects of pre-trial practice, including complex choice of law analysis, insurance coverage, admissibility of expert testimony, sanctions, and discovery disputes.
