Timothy Van de Kamp

Tim is a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group and works on the firm’s Real Estate and Construction and Banking and Creditors’ Rights teams. He advises and represents individuals, businesses, and banks on a variety of real estate, corporate, and banking related issues, including property acquisitions and dispositions; commercial, retail and office leasing; zoning and land use law; and creditors’ rights.

Examples of Tim’s Recent Client Work

• Represented residential apartment owner in a $12 million acquisition of large, mixed use residential and commercial property
• Advised hotel developer in acquisition of land and development of multiple projects
• Regularly represented court appointed receiver in negotiation and sale of business assets and real property including, for instance, multiple hotel properties, a marina, a convenience store and a national fast food restaurant
• Successfully represented commercial property owner in storm water run-off dispute
• Represented commercial office property owner in creation of form lease and implementation and negotiation of the new form lease with tenants
• Served as counsel for municipality and in that capacity reviewed annexation and zoning issues; reviewed and prepared planned unit development documents; prepared conditional use permits, developer agreements and storm water management agreements; and drafted ordinances
