Robert W. Sanders

Robert Sanders works to deliver responsive, straightforward, and practical advice to clients. He focuses on taking the time necessary to understand his clients’ businesses in order to anticipate their issues and manage their risks. Adept in finding cost-saving solutions to all forms of disputes, his current practice includes the representation of all sizes of employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. 

As a member of WHD’s Litigation Practice Group and Health Care Team, Mr. Sanders has experience with a broad range of trial and appellate issues, including handling medical expense payment and reimbursement issues, defending corporations and property owners against liability actions, handling various forms of employment litigation, and prosecuting subrogation liens. Mr. Sanders also has experience addressing and interpreting Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations.

As part of WHD’s Worker's Compensation and Emerging Companies teams, Mr. Sanders’ experience involves handling various forms of employment litigation and strategically resolving all issues surrounding worker's compensation claims. His experience includes handling the complex requirements of Medicare Set-Asides. 

Prior to joining WHD, Mr. Sanders was a legal intern for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club and a mediator at the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Restorative Justice Project. In his spare-time he volunteers as a mediator at the Mediation and Restorative Justice Center in Waukesha, Wis.
