Our teenage daughter was involved in a collision. I (foolishly) decided to work directly with the insurance company, albeit having no knowledge of the law or standard practices in a personal injury case. After two weeks of no one returning my calls or emails, I finally got to speak with a paralegal, who gave me the run around. He did however, offer and ultimately follow through on his promise to guide us through the process on our own if we wished, at no cost! Ultimately we were able to settle the case to our satisfaction.
