Milwaukee lawyer Chelsea L. Williamson’s primary motivation in practicing family law is to help people in especially trying situations.

Emotions are heightened in family law cases, so Ms. Williamson provides her clients with a source of stability and always looks out for their best interest.

“Family law was appealing because of the combination of the legal aspect with the therapeutic aspect,” Ms. Williamson said. “So many of our clients just want someone to listen to them and tell them that their feelings are valid.”

“I believe I am able to connect with clients and let them know that I hear what they feel and what they want and that I understand where they are coming from,” Ms. Williamson said. “Even what they feel or want is legally not in their best interest, I want them to know that I understand and will help guide them to the best possible solution.

“The legal process works at its own pace, but it will all come together in the end. I’m here to help them 100% of the way even beyond the pleadings and the court hearings. I am here to listen to their concerns, help them figure out what they ultimately want and do the stressing and the worrying for them. I am also here to make sure they are not taken advantage of.”
