Ann S. Rothstein

Ann Rothstein appeared to have good reviews; so I hired her. I recommend that you do your homework first, on the lawyer that you are hiring. She never did anything to help us. She wanted me to do all of the work. Working with her was so absurd. It is a total waste time and money, find yourself anoth...er attorney, pay the extra cost and hire an assiduous lawyer, that will be in your corner. It will be in your best interest in the end.

Ann had fantastic reviews here so I hired her. She never did anything she promised to do. She wanted me to do everything. It was ridiculous. Then she just dropped off the map and it took 2 weeks to get a hold of her. Another reviewer on here said her problem is she gives more attention to some client...s than others. I guess I fell into the category of not getting attention. She made me miss hearings and pissed off a judge's staff which I'm sure contributed to the fact that I lost my case. Her law firm is named after her dad I think, and I think her dad must have been a much better business man and lawyer than her because she trades under his name and not hers. I do not recommend Ann Rothstein at all. Stay far away. Pay the extra money, it'll be worth it in the end since she does nothing for the money you do pay her.

Very unorganized. Had all my information wrong after numerous times I have already corrected her. Hard to get a hold of. Never called me to keep me updated on my case. I was kept in the dark, First time I met her she wrote my information on a scrap piece of paper. Waste of my money and time. I had to... re read everything to make sure all the information was right. She had to re correct my marital agreement and Judgement of Divorce more than once because she kept typing in the wrong information. To date my address is still wrong. It doesn't even have my APT number on it. I've corrected her multiple times but yet no change.She even had my birthday wrong, the number of children I have were consistently WRONG. It was a headache trying to constantly correct her and making sure that information was accurate. I felt like I worked on my case more than she did. Very Frustrating. I do not recommend her to anyone.

She handled my divorce. She was often confused and unorganized Things got postponed due to her not following up on things even though she knew I was dealing with an uncooperative, combative spouse. I was a wreck of nerves the entire time. It was really was a nightmare. She looked highly unprofession...al, covered in pet hair and wrinkled clothing and was often surly and snappish. I had to pick her up on the way to court. My parents got me a money order to pay her and they misheard me and got one for way over the amount. I asked her to repay me as soon as everything cleared and it is a year later and I still havent seen the $400+. Do not trust this lawyer.
