Civil trial and family law attorney Mark E. Sostarich is a 1978 cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and former editor-in-chief of the Wisconsin Law Review, a scholarly publication edited by top law students at that institution.

In the more than 35 years of practice, his dedication to clients and effectiveness in the courtroom have earned him an outstanding professional reputation in legal communities statewide as well as an AV Preeminent peer review rating.*

Professional Memberships And Accolades

Attorney Mark E. Sostarich's activities outside the legal field include service on the Wisconsin State Elections Board for 10 years following a governor's appointment, service as a former president and secretary of the South Milwaukee Police and Fire Commission, and service with the South Milwaukee Housing Authority. Attorney Sostarich is also the co-founder of Wisconsin Lawyers for Voters' Rights.

In the political sphere, attorney Sostarich has worked as an adviser for multiple state and federal political campaigns and judicial campaigns. He has routinely provided election law advice to candidates as well, and he has held elected leadership positions with the Milwaukee County Democratic Party, the Wisconsin State Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee. In 1996, he served as chairman of Wisconsin's delegation to the Democratic National Convention.

Outside Of His Legal Practice

On a more personal note, attorney Sostarich has served as president of his church council at Trinity Lutheran Church and has taught young adult Sunday school classes there for more than 20 years.
