Lemberger. After a 2-week trial in July, 2008, the jury returned a verdict in our client's favor. After a flury of post-trial motions by all parties, the trial judge discerned the jury's intent and rejected the defendants' motions to deny any recovery on behalf of Mr. Lemberger. The court is expected to enter the final judgment in early November, 2008.

As such, Collins is entitled to present evidence in support of her FMLA claims and the court is obliged to deny MMRA's motion to dismiss."

The Milwaukee Police Department terminated my client from the Police Academy, claiming that he misrepresented a medical condition in his application when in fact he did not. The City treated him like h ... e was medically unqualified for the position, but he was qualified. Even if he had the medical condition the City attributed to my client, it violated the discrimination laws by terminating his employment because of a perceived disability. The judge awarded backpay and attorneys fees and ordered the City to reinstatement my client to the Academy where he will complete his training and fulfill his goal of becoming a Police Officer.
