OUTCOME: Won unanimous decision in Ga. Supreme Court
Defended Butts County, Georgia against claim by developer that it was entitled to vested interest in antedated county building ordinance and had right to convey such an interest to subsequent purchaser ... in contradiction to recently established county construction minimums. The Georgia Supreme Court ruled unanimously that vested interest had not been established and, even if it had, right to build under previous minimums did not pass with sale of land to subsequent purchaser.
