Without going into legal details, we hired Noelle Murray to represent our son in a custody case. Noelle and her team didn't miss a beat; well prepared, kept us very well informed, returned phone calls promptly even it was just to talk us off the ledge as the court date approached. The court date ca...me and as parents we sat in the back waiting to hear where our grandson was going to reside, with his father or his mother? As I watched I was so impressed with Noelle's professionalism, the case was decided just has Noelle and her team predicted, but they prepared us for it to go either way. Our son was awarded temporary primary care which is uncommon in Iowa. BEWARE, Noelle Murray was the biggest waste of time and money I have ever spent. Being her client was a complete joke. She didn’t thoroughly review the situation or ask the necessary questions. She was trying to settle before we even had talked about wants and needs. She did not step up and offer pro...per representation. I felt uneasy throughout my whole experience with her she wasn’t there to advise or put any worries at ease. She was completely incompetent and unprofessional. I wouldn’t wish her on the opposing counsel as her skills are sub-par at best. She doesn’t show up prepared for scheduled meetings and she couldn’t even get my ex served when she had multiple good addresses and phone numbers. My ex didn’t even have to hire an attorney she just had consulted with one, it was ridiculous. Noelle has terrible communication skills via email, mail and phone on top of that she bills her higher hourly rate for work that her paralegals complete. She was unaware of things that she had supposedly done. Worse mistake I ever made just a complete waste of my time. I happily terminated our contract and hired a real attorney who wrapped things up quicker and cheaper even though his hourly rate was double hers. Noelle and her team were more concerned about utilizing my retainer than resolving my case. Wish I had saved myself the headache and agony of ever going to Bertroche Law office. If you want any chance at getting anything done or getting your stipulations find a better attorney. She made an easy case complicated and expensive.
