Lanny Michael Van Daele

I was appointed Lanny as my attorney, I never chose him. When we tried to contact him multiple times about my court case we never, not once, received any calls or emails back. We lest 6 voice mails and multiple emails trying to contact him about my case and he NEVER responded so we were forced to fin...d our own lawyer. After my court case was all done I paid my fine in full and that was it. So I thought. Months later I get note in the mail that says I have an unpaid fee at the courthouse and they were taking my tax return. Turns out it was Lanny charging us for the “work” he had done for us. out of all the emails and calls we left him he NEVER ONCE contacted us back. So I contacted him again asking for an itemized bill. This was the only email we received from him and turns out he charged us for every single email he did not respond to, every single voicemail he did not respond too and charged us for switching lawyers. Also the itemized bill he sent back was falsified because the dates of his charges were dated before I had even been arrested! Also he submitted these fraudulent charges to the court on the last possible day he could, after I had paid my fine in full. The court does send out bills or anything so I had no clue I had these charges from a lawyer I had never been in contact with. Lanny is the type of lawyer and the reason why people believe lawyers are crooks and scammers because this was the most lazy, unprofessional, and scammy situation I have ever been in.
