Charles Aaron Damschen

Charlie Damschen is a Partner at Hamilton IP Law, initially joining the firm as an associate in 2008. Charlie earned his B.S. in Chemistry and Bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 2003. Charlie then worked as an engineer at Cargill before entering law school. Charlie earned his J.D. from The University of Iowa College of Law in 2007, with high distinction. Charlie is a member of the Scott County and Johnson County Bar Associations, the IIPLA, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Charlie also is a co-founder of eyesDx, a software company specializing in signal analysis. Charlie is also an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Iowa College of Law, teaching students from the Law, Business, Medicine, and Engineering schools in the Iowa Medical Innovation Group (“IMIG”), a practical course taking innovations from idea to market. Charlie utilizes his aptitude in technical and complex issues, expertise in innovative processes, diligent focus on detail, and alacrity for the concept-to-market process to serve his clients in optimizing their technologies and innovations in a way that allows them to Own The Market®.
