OUTCOME: Judgment for Plaintiff
75 year old Plaintiff alleged that defendant grand-son swindled him into allowing his name and good credit to be used to purchase rental properties in Texas, that defendant misrepresented his true inte ... ntions, negligently managed the properties and lost them (13 buildings) in foreclosure. Further, defendant forged Plaintiff's name on deeds to access equity in Plaintiff's home. This matter involved not only prosecuting this case, but unwinding the deeds in local court, representing client w/regard to short sales in Texas and negotiating secondary collection actions.
OUTCOME: Damages to Plaintiffs plus letter of apology
Plaintiffs retained Duggan's Welch Funeral Parlor in San Francisco to handle funeral arrangements for their mother's body. After mother was cremated, Duggan's failed to notify the family when their mo ... ther's body had been cremated and where the remains were. It took the family over 2 1/2 months to get their mother's ashes so they could have their burial service. Plaintiffs suffered mental anguish.
