“This reprimand was the result of an operations error when I was a solo attorney. I accepted a fee from a client before receiving approval from the Court (which is required in probate cases). I take full responsibility for this error and have learned from it--the procedures that led to this issue are not how our firm operates today. Also, to be clear, my license to practice law was never suspended or restricted, nor was there any concern about the fee itself being unreasonable.”
