Family sued Pima County Sheriff Deputies when an application for a search warrant of the home was falsified in order to secure judge's issuance of the warrant. Also, sued Arizona Department of Child Sa ... fety investigator and supervisor who seized boys, aged 16 and 14, based on information from the deputy defendant. Judge Zipps of the United States District Court, Tucson, granted judgment on claims against all defendants. Pima County settled and the DCS defendants did not. In advance of trial, the three AZDCS workers who were sued confessed judgment in the amount of $400,000.oo for a total recovery of $1.1 million. The case is closed.
