Biography
Jessica’s largest area of practice is family law, mainly consisting of custody disputes and dissolutions of marriage, but also spilling over into name changes, terminations, and paternity actions. With a daughter and a step son of her own, Jessica is intimately familiar with the intricacies of how divorce and custody disputes can increase family tension, cause children to act out, and create disharmony among family members if good lawyering (and parenting) is not taking place. Jessica’s goal is to get you a workable, permanent result that you and your children can be happy with and proud of without costing you a fortune.
Jessica’s favorite area of practice is criminal law, ranging from simple traffic tickets to serious felonies. Being married to a police officer, and having majored in criminal justice, Jessica brings a unique perspective to the criminal law arena. Jessica is a skilled negotiator, and is always happy to help her clients get a deal which can save them their jobs, their reputations, and their liberty. If a deal cannot be reached, Jessica is not afraid of the court room and will zealously defend you and your rights.
