OUTCOME: 3,050,000 verdict for Plaintiff and her two daughters

Medical Malpractice case on behalf of a young mother who underwent an elective laparoscopy procedure. As part of being prepped for anesthesia she was give a drug that was cross reactive to another drug ... that she was known to be allergic to and had caused her to go into anaphylactic shock. This drug also caused her to go anaphylactic shock. There was also a significant delay in treating the anaphylaxis. All of which resulted in an anoxic brain injury.
