John was having a mental health episode when law enforcement was called to where he was staying in Alamogordo, NM. During the interaction with law enforcement John had a knife to his own throat. The St ... ate asserted that during the encounter John attempted to stab a police officer. After thorough cross-examination of three police officers, whose stories varied from the body camera footage, I was able to convey the truth to the jury that John was attempting to take his own life and offered to threat to the law enforcement agents.
